Voting and Election Campaign Information

For more information about registering to vote, where to vote and other information specifically for Cook County voters, go to the Cook County Clerk's voter information website at: http://www.voterinfonet.com/, or to the City of Evanston Clerk's Voter Information web page.
To register, one must
  1. Be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Be 18 years old on or before February 2, 2010.
  3. A resident of your precinct at least 30 days prior to February 2, 2010.
  4. Present two forms of ID, one of which must have your current address. This can be a driver's license, state ID, utility bill, checkbook.

Dates: Monday, January 18 & Sunday, January 25
ETHS Cable Channel 18 will broadcast the January 10 LWV Candidate forums repeatedly through January.

The Web site gives citizens the option to investigate a candidate's biography, campaign finance contributions, issue positions, special interest support, and, if an incumbent, his/her voting record.
