2021 Consolidated Election

The League of Women Voters of Evanston and the Evanston Public Library are co-sponsoring a series of candidate forums for the February 23, 2021 Consolidated Primary Election.

Primary elections are held for a Mayoral race with more than two candidates, and also for Clerk and Aldermanic races with more than four candidates. The total count includes write-in candidates that have filed their intent to run with the City Clerk. All candidates are invited to participate in the forums.

The Primary candidate forums will be held on Zoom on the following dates. Registration is required to attend. Due to limited attendee capacity on Zoom, the forums will also be streamed on
Facebook Live.

Following the events, the forums will be available for on-demand viewing on the LWVE YouTube channel.

The public is invited to submit questions for the forums.

Questions must be appropriate for the office and directed to all candidates. Questions can be submitted on the Zoom registration form, or by email to  (specify which office race your question is for).  The deadline for questions is 48 hours prior to the event.

Information regarding forums leading up to the April 6, 2021 General Election will be posted at a later date.
