In its Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP), the City of Evanston set a goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. One of the CARP goals is to “prioritize efforts to promote native landscaping and restoring and conserving habitat.”
This presentation Butterflies and Bees (via zoom– Feb 24, 2021) was jointly sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Evanston and Natural Habitat Evanston. Our Climate Action committee has spotlighted more helpful information on ways to reduce Individuals' carbon footprint by at least 5000 pounds by May 31, 2021.
