Chief Stewart joined us to talk about her priorities and goals; getting guns off the street and out of the schools; recruiting, hiring and training for the desired staffing level; building good relations between the police and the community; and much more. Stewart grew up in Evanston and graduated from ETHS. She brings 23 years of law enforcement experience to Evanston, including 15 years in police leadership roles.
