LWVE’s Document Library includes Observer Reports, Intercom newsletter archives, and handouts to print, as well as current and essential "members only" documents. As new members join the League, and current members take on various leadership roles and responsibilities, it’s helpful to review archived documents on League Basics, Local Program and Study Processes, Setting Local League Nonpartisan Policy, and more.
You can get to some documents from relevant pages on our website. An example: The main “
Local Government” page on our site links to a gateway to
Observer Reports.
Many folders and documents are available to everyone, but others, like our Member Directory,
can only be viewed by LWVE members. To gain access to all folders and documents, log in to the LWVE website using the red LOGIN at the top right on our website. Need a reminder on how to log in? See our Website Tip on

Here’s a way to access the full Document Library:
- Log in as a member (see above).
- Select “New and Events” from the main menu at the top of most of our webpages.
- Select “Document Library” on the left side of the page.
- Click on each folder name to see what’s there.
- A black folder icon indicates that there are sub-folders you can click on to see what they contain.
- A white folder lists names of specific sub-folders as well as documents under that icon heading.
- Select the name of the document you want to view. Then, read it and learn!
